Dear Truth-Seekers and Truth-Tellers,
We acknowledge, and have much to still learn about, the horrific Truth of colonization that contributed to, and still contributes to, the opportunity for us to be here. We are dedicated to listening to and learning more about the teachings and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples.
In addition, we are dedicated to learning more about the findings of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, including 2SLGBTQQIA+ people, and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s findings regarding cultural genocide, so that we may do our part to honour the Truth.
We are very grateful for Indigenous Peoples’ openness to collaborate with non-Indigenous Peoples so that we may collectively heal a path forward for the betterment of All.
