Sunny Yimeng Dong

Sunny Yimeng Dong is a mental health knowledge broker and certified hypnotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (honours) from McMaster University. Her passion for mental health stems from her lived experiences with mental health challenges. She was diagnosed with ADHD at age 22, which ignited her ongoing self-discovery and healing journey. She has over five years of experience facilitating online communities, conducting research, and designing knowledge tools for various non-profits. Her topics of work range from engaging youth with disabilities in research, ADHD nutrition therapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy, substance use and addictions to harm reduction. In her free time, Sunny loves being one with nature and hosts documentary nights with her friends.
