Michael Flach

From the early days, long before Superstar X formally existed, Michael has been there for Nicole and Edward. In fact, Edward was the one who initially found Michael, to ask him for advice on a business idea. Michael very kindly and generously provided Edward with the advice he needed to realize that a particular overseas venture was likely not a good idea. Gratefully, Edward heeded Michael’s advice. This to say, especially given Edward’s diverse challenges with schizophrenia, substance use disorder, lack of housing, identity, and HIV, it speaks volumes about Michael’s character to treat Edward with the utmost respect and offering his advice to Edward pro bono.

Michael was called to the Alberta Bar in 2006 and the Ontario Bar in 2009. His range of experience as a strategic and trusted advisor to both start-up and established businesses includes mergers and acquisitions; oil and gas; telecommunications; technology; outsourcing; procurement; intellectual property and brand management; banking; project development; and general corporate commercial matters.

In addition to Michael being a devoted partner to Larissa and #1 Dad to Gabriel, Noah, and Ava, he is a strategic, trusted, and invaluable advisor for Superstar X as it continues to evolve into more of what it is meant to be. The X Team is incredibly grateful for Michael’s sound advice and kind support, while also always being a cheerleader of Superstar X’s progress and a faithful ally for Nicole and Edward.

Michael is originally from Calgary, Alberta (Treaty 7), and acknowledges his unearned white privilege, inspired to transform this into empowering the intersectionalities of women, members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, Black People, Indigenous Peoples, and People of Colour.
