Carolyn Walters

Nicole and Carolyn have been friends since the summer of 1990. In addition to their shared herstory, Carolyn is a loyal supporter of the many iterations of ideas and trial-and-error implementations that led to the current makeup of Superstar X.

Having extensive knowledge and experience with developing and implementing strategic plans to successfully register, maintain, and enforce trademarks, Carolyn knows what it takes to protect an organization’s distinctive intellectual property and further build a sustainable brand.

Superstar X’s journey to develop and expand its collective multimedia brand is strengthened by Carolyn’s astute ability to discern a clear path forward within the depths of complexities, while always staying true to Superstar X’s purpose. Complementary to Carolyn being #1 mom for Darby and Katie, she is a very empathetic listener and openly shares that Superstar X’s purpose is “very dear to my heart as my family has also struggled with mental health challenges.”

Carolyn acknowledges her unearned white, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied privileges and is dedicated to transforming these privileges for the betterment of humanity, especially in support of Black, Indigenous Peoples, People of Colour, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities. Originally from a farm north of Bassano, Alberta, Carolyn now lives in Calgary, Alberta (Treaty 7).
